Celebrate 50 Years of Jamaican Independence – August 16th
Celebrating 50 Years of Jamaican Independence
In the Jamaica Performing Arts Center, Council Member Leroy Comrie will host a celebration to commemorate Jamaica’s 50thAnniversary of Independence. Jamaican’s currently living in New York will be honored for their contributions to the city and Queens. The event is free and where you will be able to see live performances.
